High Chief (Dr.) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has lauded the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, describing him as a leader whose public service is defined by courage, conviction and an unwavering sense of duty.
In a birthday message issued on behalf of the leadership and staff of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), Tompolo said Wike’s journey in public life reflects a rare blend of legal brilliance, political audacity and firm decision-making, noting that true leadership is measured by impact rather than rhetoric.
He said from Wike’s early years in public administration to his tenure as Governor of Rivers State and his current role as FCT Minister, the former governor has consistently demonstrated resilience, results-oriented leadership and a deep commitment to the public good.
According to Tompolo, Wike’s influence is already evident in the Federal Capital Territory, with renewed emphasis on infrastructure development, order and accountability.
“In the Federal Capital Territory, your presence is already being massively felt. The renewed focus on infrastructure, order and accountability speaks to a hands-on leadership style that understands Abuja’s symbolic and practical importance to Nigeria’s unity and governance,” he said.
The TSSNL founder also commended the minister for recognising the strong link between security, development and national stability, noting that Wike’s insistence on law, order and institutional discipline aligns with Tantita’s mandate of protecting critical national assets and promoting a safe environment for sustainable growth.
Tompolo further described Wike’s reputation as “Mr. Project” as well-deserved, citing his consistent performance and willingness to take difficult decisions in the interest of duty.
“In moments that demand firmness, you have chosen responsibility over convenience, standing by your convictions even when the path was difficult,” he added.
He prayed for renewed strength, sharper vision and continued success for the FCT minister as he marks another year, expressing confidence that Wike’s service would continue to leave a lasting imprint on national development.
“Please accept my sincere best wishes for good health, wisdom and continued success. May the years ahead bring fulfilment and further contributions to the progress and unity of Nigeria,” Tompolo said.
